Here's how to make your system display more brighter,Although most laptops nowadays has a place on the keyboard to adjust the display brighness, but it wont change this particular setting am talking about.
In this setthing you'll be able to set the On battery display and On Plugged display for those using laptop.
Incase you don't know,windows vista has many ways/shortcuts of accessing windows files,folders,programs.
Let's do it this way.
Go to start>>>control panel(classic View)>>>power options(double click).
The power options will open>>>>click on the "Adjust the display brightness"see the picture below.
From there you can ajust the brighnes for On Battery or On Plugged or even both.
Click the save changes when you are done.
